Urgent: Stock level check after delivery

After PGI is done the stock gets reduced in plant- this is standard.

Can the level of stock be checked after delivery itself.

Ex- Sales Order >Delivery>PGI >after this stock level comes down

but I want Sales Order >Delivery>after this stock level comes down and system should prompt message

Is this possible ,How?

hi,

looks like its not possible in standard SAP. Because unless we post the goods issue the system cannot reduce the plant stock and valuation which takes place throught material account determination.

So till the time of PGI, even if a delivery is created the cannot by standard show it. For this we had a customized t.code which shows the exact stock on hand after considering various deliveries due for a particular item, the incoming receipts for it.

I think you need find the appropriate user exit for VL01N and write a code to prompt the respective message.
