hi,
i want know the main use of MEREP_EX_REPLIC, MEREP_MIG and
MEREP_MON transaction codes.
Regards,
Anu
Hi anusha,
MEREP_EX_REPLIC- (Execute Replicator) is used for replicating SyncBO IDs.
MEREP_MIG - (Used for Migration) When u go for migration of a SyncBO using the SAP transport technology we use the Export and Import options.
MEREP_MON- (Mobile Monitor )The transaction MEREP_MON is a tool used to display inbound and outbound worklists of SyncBOs. Simply, transaction MEREP_MON allows you to see what is sent from the client to the MW and what happend when trying to send it to the Backend. May check there if you can see anything coming into the MW from the client. As well check what is the outcome (processing status) of these worklists.
Do check the below link...Its worth.

Similarly there are many other transactions...Check some of the below:

MEREP_EX_REPLIC-Execute Replicator
MEREP_LOG -Activity Log
MEREP_MIG -Migration
MEREP_MON- Mobile Monitor
MEREP_PD - Profile Dialog
MEREP_PURGE - Purge Tool
MEREP_SBUILDER - SyncBO Builder
MI_ALBACK - Back Up CCMS Alerts for MI
MI_ALMON - Alert Monitor for MI Alerts
MI_MCD -MI:Process Mobile Component
MI_MSD -MI:Process Mobile Component

Hi Anusha,
<<<MEREP_EX_REPLIC, MEREP_MIG and
MEREP_MON transaction codes.>>>
<b>MEREP_EX_REPLIC:</b>
This transaction is used for replication of Syncbos from backend to Middleware.
We execute this transaction from middleware...
The best way to use is use MEREP_PD->Synchronizer tab and replicate the selected Syncbo.(This is other option of replication).
Here in MEREP_EX_REPLIC..we give inputs as syncbo name and log level.....
then we get the replicated data from backend to middle with detailed analysis how many records are added, modified, deleted.
<b> MEREP_MIG</b>
This transaction is used to migrate syncbos from one system to other(Server systems).
We have two options import and export..we can migrate the syncbos by Transport request or text file......and later we can use export option and get the syncbo definition file uploded to the destination server.
Once syncbos are migrated using this tool, we need to regenerated and replicate the syncbos...
<b>MEREP_MON</b>
Here we can get all the ststus of wats happening to the data flow...
so here we have inbox and out box in server...so data coming from client is placed in INBOX and data downloded to client comes to out box...
So we can analyze how data flow is occured and find out the reasons if any errors occur....if any conflict, error etc..
If any records are in partial state..any not getting out of that state..then we have to ignore those partial records and proceed furthur..its a just simple scenario...
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers,
Karthick

Hi Anusha,
MEREP_EX_REPLIC:
When you use this, you might be applying changes on the Replica DB.
The replicator is a function module generated by the Smart Synchronization code generator that is used to replicate application data from the backend system to the Smart Synchronization Replica DB. this will manually trigger the replicator in order to copy the 'application data' (that is the data in tables MEREP_COUNTRY and MEREP_COUNTRYT) into the Replica DB.
To use this, manually log on to SAP GUI,
1. type trans /nmerep_ex_replic. and
2. Enter the SyncBO ID you have used;say Z_ANUXYZ into field SyncBO ID and choose the Execute icon or F8.
with this A log is displayed with details on all changes performed on the Replica DB.
MEREP_MIG :
This is a migration tool
you will use this to migrate SyncBOs from one SAP Web AS to another...
MEREP_MON
This is a monitoring tool, you can display all the synchronization messages with various views.
1. Start transaction merep_mon.
2. Enter or select the appropriate values. Different views are possible by selecting Mobile Group, Mobile ID, Worklists or SyncBO ID.
3. and execute.
these transaction are part of admin toolkit.
which will help you SyncBOs, monitor messages, handle errors, clean up process logs and perform other tasks.
look at this link too, it helps.
Hope this helps
