CCMS Agents error in AIX

When trying to check the version of CCMS agent on AIX box this error is observed

<i><b>#~/sapccm4x -v

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program sapccm4x because of the following errors:

rtld: 0712-001 Symbol strcpy was referenced

from module sapccm4x(), but a runtime definition

of the symbol was not found.

rtld: 0712-002 fatal error: exiting.</b></i>

Can somebody let me know the cause and resolution ? if you have experienced this.there werent any notes regarding this on Service market place.

This is caused by a build problem with the unicode libraries. Please download and unpack the

package "UCLIB_3-20000226.SAR" from SAP Service Marketplace (6.40 64-BIT UNICODE AIX 64bit).

Thanks for the response was useful,i have done that and put in the new libraries.The agent started and registered to CEN but it crashed in 20 mins dumping a core.

while it was up i was not able to see that in the self monitoring of CCMS agents in CEN.should something be done to make satellite system visible in RZ20 of CEN.

Hi Gnana,

I am getting exactly the same error when I run sapccm4x. Were you able to resolve this issue? If so, please share the resolution. It is very urgent and I have to resolve this issue ASAP.
