Hi ram.

In addition to my reply to u further regarding condition update is mainly used for discount.

1) First u need to Activate the condition update field in Condition type PR00 IN img.

2) U need to create condition records, in the condition record you will find a tab additional tab go to that tab u will find 3 columns

Limits for pricing

a) Max Condition Value- you enter here 100 and save, and when u create your sales order and if you give a discount of Rs 30 the same will accept but if you enter anything above Rs 100 as discount for any other sales order the same will not accept, however the same will be cumulative that means if you create 3 sales orders by giving discounts of Rs 30, 40, 30 the same will come to 100. if you create the fouth order where you give discount even Rs 10 the same will not accept.

b) The second tab is Max Sales orders- Here if you enter 5, the system accepts discounts for the first 5 orders and not for the sixth and so on.

c) The third tab is for Max Condition Base Value : Here the same applies for weight or quantity ,if you specify 100 as your quantity then the discount will be applicable to the first 100 items that too on a cumulative basis as explained in point a, that is if you create sales orders by giving quantity 30 , 40 , 30 the same will be eligible for discount but the next order where you create the same with quantity 10 discount will not be applicable.

Hi Ram

Condition Update means.

1) U can give discount upto Rs 1000 only to the first 10 orders out of say 100 orders you have created. or say if freight should be applicable for the first 10 orders of the 100 that you have created. This can be done with the help of condition update.

2) The meaning of the term Condition Index means u can search for condition records that were created for a condition type or a a condition TABLES. For example u can also search for a all condition records that apply to a particular customer say 341 or a product say Bike, for example. If you want Condition Index to work you must first activate the same in your condition type say PR00.

Use

You can create and use condition indices. You can use these indices to display, change and

create condition records with reference. This transaction can include condition records with

several condition types and tables. For example, you can use a condition index if you want to see

all condition records that apply to a particular product regardless of whether the records are

prices or discounts. In this case, you can use one of the standard condition indexes. Or you may

want to see a list of condition records that contain a particular sales deal and a material from a

user-specified list of products. To display this information, you can create your own condition index.
