Hi,

1. In xd05 we will find check box for sales support .What r the sales support activities which we can block there?

2. How the availability check determined based on strategy group? where we will find the requirement type determination based on strategy group?

3. I had maintained the gross weoight as kgs, but the sales unit is measured as pieces. while maintainning the group condition, it is accepting only in kgs or tonnes, but it is not allowing to use pieces? Grop condition can be maintained as a pieces only as i had maintained the sales unit as pieces?

2. Strategy group

The allowed planning strategies (main strategy and further possible strategies) are combined in the strategy group. the strategy group is specified in the material master record in the MRP 1 Screen. In Customizing, strategy groups are assigned, dependent on plant, to MRP groups. If the strategy group is missing in the material master record, it is determined on the basis of the MRP group, if it has been maintained.

MRP group

The MRP group combines materials from the point of view of material requirements planning. This enables you to control planning for these materials in a particular way using, for example, the strategy group, consumption mode and planning period. You enter the MRP group in the material master in the MRP 1 screen. The strategy group is determined from the MRP group.

3. check calculation type of the group condition record.
