How do I install Netweaver Developer Studio?

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me find Netweaver Developer Studio, and any related components, in the download area? I have logged into service.sap.com but I can't make heads or tails of it. Also, how do I get the SAPCAR program? I need to install Developer Studio ASAP for work.

Hi Rodolfo,

Follow this path:

service.sap.com -> downloads-> Support Packages and Patches -> SAP NetWeaver-> SAP NETWEAVER-> SAP NETWEAVER 04-> Entry by Component-> SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio

Can someone please tell me where to download the latest FULL version (not a service pack, patch, or upgrade) of NWDS for NW2004s? All of the paths referenced in this thread no longer exist on service.sap.com and when I do a search I get no results.

I need to install this ASAP to do some custom Portal components.

service.sap.com/download --> Click on search for all categories - Enter SAP Netweaver Developer Studio and do a search. you should see SAR files to download..

Siddhartha (or anyone else who knows),

Do these Dev Studio SAR files from service.sap.com/download represent installable versions from scratch of Dev Studio, or do they patch/upgrade a previously installed base version that must already exist on your machine? For example, I download JIDE13_0-10002804.SAR, I "SAPCAR" it, and I see a JDTsetup.exe file. If I have no previous version of Dev Studio on my machine and I run JDTsetup.exe, will I get a fully functioning 2.0.13 version of the Dev Studio?
