MiniSAP Installatin problem in Microsoft Vista

Hi,

I am trying to load minisap on Microsoft VISTA and i get an error as

"CALCRAM_NT_MSS ColdKeyCheck 2 178

Phase failed.

Error: Main {} 2 178

Installation aborted."

Information:

checking host name lookup for 'goldie'

Info: CENTRDBINSTANCE_NT_IND SyCheckHostnameLookup 2 217

offical host name for 'goldie' is 'goldie'.

Info: CENTRDBINSTANCE_NT_IND SyCheckHostnameLookup 2 217

host 'goldie' has ip address '192.123.1.2'

Info: CENTRDBINSTANCE_NT_IND SyCheckHostnameLookup 2 217

offical host name for '192.123.1.2' is 'goldie.home'.

Please help me in resolving the problem.

Hello,

I dont know if minisap is working with Vista or not..but based on u r error..do the following ..

(1) install microsoft loop back adapter

(2) make an entry of ip address and hostname in host file of u r system

(3) restart the instalaltion.

Hi,

I am unable to add the ms loopback adapter in Vista operating system and i could not get the solution for that also in windows help and when iam trying to add the host address and name in the host file, the file is not getting saved.

If u can find me a solution for this ill be very happy

Forget it - it won´t work. The installation kernel 4.6D is VERY old - you even need a special installation CD for Windows 2003 and Vista is newer.

Additionally it comes with SAPDB 7.3 which won´t work under Vista either.

Hi Rajan,

NW04 & NW04S are not supported by windows vista u need to wait for the next version called new york.
