Dear monti,

First of all consignment pick up has the following schedule lines :

F1 and F0.

E1 and E0 are for consignment fill up. E0 sch. line is without avaiability check and E1 is with availability check. It's the same with consignment pick up.

Generally for consignment pick up no availability check (since the goods are being returned )is needed hence E0 is used if ever E1 is used then the system will check whether the goods are available or not in the stock available in the consignment stock of the consignee. The movement type here is of course 632.

Hope I hve cleared your doubt.

hi monti,

A1) Normaly we use batch determination at delivery level, because at the time of order material may or may not be created.for this material should be configured with batch and batch determination should be checked in sales views of material.

A2) Batch Determination during order Creation.

For this you need to maintain a Classes d for you Material. Depending on the Manufacturing process you can define the characteristics for your material.

Ex: Purity for Medicines, Resistance for Electric Items.

You need to create a class (You might have to create a new class type) which incorporates the characteristic.

First Create the Characteristic Using Ct04 and then using Cl02 create the Class including this characteristic.

Then in your material master Classification View Enter this class.

Then Create a Batch for the particular plant and Stor Loc using MSC1N.Give the value of the characteristics in this batch.

Then go to SPRO ->Logistics General ->Batch Management and maintain the Condition Technique (Procedure, Strategy Types and assignment to sales docs etc).

Then Create the Batch Determination Record using VCH1

Batch search strategy must be active to carry out this. Consult a PP guy regarding this.

Regarding finished or trading goods, the difference is how you want to account this revenue. Because the valuation class for a finished good is different to a trading goods enabling distinct accounting at plant valuation. And trading goods are procured from outside, so if the business process is this way then select as trading. But if it so happens you manufacture it as well produce it, then take it as a finished product with purchasing views. Normally we dont have purchase views for finished products as they produced inside.

Hope it helps. Pl reward if useful.

Thanks

1) both are same.. check the configuration of both...

2)when two goods movement takes place with a one schedule line we use movement type 1.

3)it depends on the manufacturing the product.. for example if the company is going to manufacture the product then its a finished good or if the company is getting from associate manufacturers, its a trading goods..

If its helps reward..
