XI Alerts on different server

Hello

We are trying to get the XI alerts posted a different alert server. This is the problem we are facing.

From our PI box (say PI1) - we set the Alert server's RFC destination (say T86). The alert category (ZTESTCAT) is defined in the T86 box with all the receipients and other messages. (using ALRTCATDEF)

The issue we are having is - when we goto 'alert configuration', i do not see the "ZTESTCAT" on the list of available alert categories availble to select and set the rule?

Is there a different place - where we need to set the alert server setting in the exchange profile or something?

hey

u need to export ur alert category using the transport request to the other box,it wont show just like that,and over there create alert Rule in RWB and then u will see it

Yes, there are a couple of settings in the exchange profile that must be adjusted. <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/750287">Note 750287</a> has the details.
