Is this XI controlled by NWDI?

Former Member

When applying support stack to an XI system, we get a message like:

"Is this system controlled by NWDI? ..."

Could you help tell

1) If yes, what to do to apply the stack, and

2) if no, what to do to apply the stack?

Thanks! Points!

Hi Jennifer,

As far as i know NWDI is a separate package, so you should be able to proceed without NWDI and later install it if required.

Check the documentation of the Stack you're applying, you should be able to find reference on how to proceed with or without it.

Hope this helps!

Hi Jennifer,

If the system is controlled by NWDI, i.e. you have NWDI installed to transport changes through your landscape, the support packages can be transported/deployed once installed on the first system. If you don't have NWDI installed, you have to apply the support packs on each system individually.

Kind regards,

Martin
