Request for external staff

Hi SRM gurus,

What are the steps/config to be done to hire external staff for services.

We have a contract for the vendor but if try to create a request with the service ID, we were not able to see the "Assign Vendors" tab for entry/selection.

Neither our contract is being displayed for selection nor we cannot select other vendors.

The Assign Vendors tab says no vendor assigned but it is greyed out.

We tried the same with BBPSC18 in GUI but there also it is greyed out and unless I assign a vendor my request is not complete.

Any suggestions/links please.

We are working on SRM 5.0 server and 4.0 Component version.

Vendor list. You must create a venbor list.
