i want to group a table in rows such that the entry in 1st common is common for all the rows and it is displayed just once and the rest columns relavent to the 1st one are grouped in rows....and at the end of each group i also need to total a specific column of the group...
please send me the logic and the method to go about it....

Hi Vinit.
Just bind the property groupingValue of the table column you want to group to the same attribute its cell editor is bound to. Then it gets grouped.
Totals are only supported in ALV component.
