tp connection error

1.when i typed the command in os leve tp coonect SID(ssl) iam in dev server.

2.it showing parameter sapevet path is not set.batch jobs cannnot started. error in tp setting trnasport dir not set. tp return code 208.

3.i checked in the profile parameter in trans folder,al11,rz10 it showing same path for trans directory.

4. in stms i check the SID (ssl) transport tool tp interface,transport profile,rfc destination,tp call all are showing green color only.

my version ecc 6.0, basis relase 700, windows nt(O.S.).

Hi Raju,

You have two options

1) tp connect SID pf=C:\usr\sap\trans\bin\tp_domain_sid

2)U need to be in the same path to execute, tp connect SID (w/o pf=..)only

like C:\usr\sap\trans\bin\ >tp connect SID

Login to the OS via <SID>adm and execute these commands

Hello,

Try with sidadm in OS command prompt :

tp connect <SID> pf=<path to your TP_DOMAINE.PFL>

ex : tp connect DEV pf=/usr/sap/trans/TP_DOMAINE_DEV.PFL

hi iam useing sidadm only.

when i used this path it return code 0.

after that when i click tp connect dev

return code comes again 208

It's not what you want ?

You must to specify each time the option pf (profile path), if you want your tp connect running good.
