Can anyone help me please?
Chris
Hi,
what type of information are you particularly interested in? Is it Web AS Java or ABAP?
In general, I can suggest that you have a look at the Migration Manual for the Web AS Java 6.40, which lists some architectural, as well as implementation differences between 6.20 and 6.40. Have a look <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/c6/86e339b8e9d741898222905d249709/frameset.htm">here</a>.
Also, there was an article here on SDN that tried to compare the 6.40 & 6.20 versions of the J2EE Engine <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/webas/vwx/webas%206.40%20java%20basic%20technology.pdf">here</a>. However, it's a bit outdated in that the J2EE Engine cluster architecture changed eversince (after J2EE Engine 6.20 PL 21).
Hope that helps!
