migrating sld objects

Hi

We are trying to migrate from an SLD on 6.40 to an SLD on 7.0. The SLD 6.40 will remain until all systems are on the 7.0 box. Can we do an export/import of the Technical and Business Landscapes, or doe we have to re-register each system using RZ70 on the new SLD?

Rajesh,

You can export the objects from SLD 6.40 to SLD 7.0.

Go to each of the technical system you want to Export , you will find an option Export in the technical system , click onit and a file will be saved on your Desktop .This will be a file with a .CIM extension.

Go to the new SLD and now, click on Import in the technical system and you can import this file in the new SLD. The technical system entry will now be available.

Hi Rajesh

I think it is better to use Exp/Imp to get the same UID defined on XI system and then you re-register all ur systems on sld
