hi experts,
i am currently installing mySAP ERP 2005 SR1 on linux/maxdb platform. I would want to know if how could i check if my installation is still running. The installation is on Create database instance step. How would i know if my installation hangs?

Dear JDR,
the problem you describe is caused by a faulty MaxDB parameter. The solution is provided in SAP Note <a href="https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=919177">919177</a> in chapter: <b>27 Apr 06 ABAP: SAPinst Hangs During Database Load of ECC</b>.
