Unable to read software component versions from System Landscape Directory

Hi XI,

Once I could import software component version but now I can't. Maybe I did something wrong in SLD.

Could you please give me some hints?

USE Tcode SLDAPICUST to fill the user PIAPPLUSER and its password. Also please check if the user is locked. If so unlock and change its password to initial one.

hey am harish ,

i have sap pi 7.0 on my pc, i don't know about the configuration of sld , i have problem with integration repository , i defined product, ts, and bs in sld ...

when i am trying to import software component version

it show a message "unable to read software component version from system landscape directory ..."

i just saw some re-commendations i this forum ...i used to check with t-code SLDCHECK there is no error it is successfully running

,.........also there is a recomendation to change the password ...

how can i change it i don't know the password ...how can i know the password of PIAPPLUSER ?

PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEM CLEARLY

Hi Harish,

I have the same problem which you faced earlier.

Would appreciate if you can share me your input.

I just installed fresh PI7.0, but after creating SWCV on SLD, in IR when I try to import the same:

It gives the same error: Unable to import SWCV from SLD.

Could you please guide me?

Hi,

Check the password in exchangeProfile of the user PIREPUSER, or check the user in the ABAP.

Ask your Basis to Configure Data Supplier Bridge Between IR and SLD.

it will solve your problem.

hi,

i have also problem with "import software componenet version "

i got a message like

than i gone for SLDCHECK...i got an error it is ............

Retreiveing data from the sld server function call returned exception code 4

connection to sld does not work

check sld function and configuration

what that i have to do ...to make it work ....please give me any solution for that please give me detailed info

hey

goto integration directory,and do a cache refresh.

Tools->clear SLD cache.

if this does not work then close the Integration directory and re-open it

hey

if u make any changes in SLD,then u have to referesh ID to see those changes.

by the way are u getting any errors? when u try to import SWCV?
