Unable to generate Solution Manager Key

Hi All,

We are installing SRM 5.0 system. So we tried to create Solution Manager key from Solution Manager 4.0 system but we are unable to create. We did following setups for creating Solution manager key – from TCode SMSY created a system SRM and then from menu other object it go to a Selection of Main Instances Tab and I am Unable to find Field to enter host and instance, I have search in all tab that was displayed in the screen. Can any body help me to solve this issue?

If possible, please generate Solution Manager Key for

System ID - SRM

host - kannan

Instance - 00

Hi Pradeep,

After creating the system in SMSY and choosing system->other objects ,you have to enter the SID of the system in the System field.

Then you have to click on the button<b> generate key</b> (With a key Icon) and then in the popup box enter the SID,system no and the host name of the server.
