Hi All,
I know that <b>SAP NetWeaver Mobile</b> is the Technology solution of SAP Netweaver.
1.
Then what is <b>Mobile Java Client</b>,<b>Mobile Browser Client</b> and <b>Mobile .Net Client for mySAP CRM</b>.
what is the difference betweeen the above three?
2.
I have read that SAP Mobile Infrastructure is installed on Client, and SAP MI is based on the open standards Java and XML.
My Question here is ,
How is SAP NW Mobile is different from SAP MI?
Is SAP Mobile Infrastructure is only related to Mobile Java Client (and not Mobile Browser Client & Mobile .Net Client for mySAP CRM)?
Help me out.
Cheers,
kumarR
Hi Kumar,
Up to my knowledge..
SAP Netweaver mobile and SAP MI are same.
And SAP Mobile Infrastructure is related to Mobile Java Client as we use Java satck in WAS.
Mobile .Net Client is different. there we use .net for middle ware processing.
And i didnot get what is this Mobile Browser client is..?
And coming to Mobile .Net client..
Mobile .NET Client provides a runtime framework for CRM Field Applications as
well as a design environment to customize these applications.
The design environment, Mobile Application Studio (MAS), is integrated with
Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and provides a set of visual modeling tools to
facilitate application development as well as a code generator to generate source
code from the application meta-data which is stored in the Mobile Application
Repository (MAR).
The MAS together with the MAR handlss multiuser development and provides
proper change management for development objects.
Multilanguage translations for labels and captions are handled
Software logistics, based on the standard R/3 transport system in conjunction with
the CRM Middleware, exist for application meta-data as well as for generated
runtime files (-> upgrades).
The runtime frameworks consist of a business framework layer and a user
interface framework layer. The application runtime interacts with both framework
layers.
<i>As part of SAP NetWeaver Mobile, Mobile .NET Client (SAP CRM) is
a client technology designed and optimized for Microsoft Windowsbased,
occasionally server-connected CRM field applications running
on mobile devices with a large footprint, such as notebooks.
The CRM Integration Services (CRM Middelware) provide mobile
client synchronization facilities to ensure seamless integration of
business data and processes between inhouse- and field users.</i>
