Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0232

Dear all,

I've finished Oracle Upgrade to 10.2.0.2 to our QTS system, It's SAP R/3 4.6C with 4.6D_EXT supp. pack 2271, HP-UX 11.23 and Oracle 9.2.0.5.

Now, it's a test phase, but the developers try to release transport from DEV system and the transport request could not be released.

<b>Error text from tp: ERROR: Connect to DEV failed</b>

Does anyone knows what is the problem?

Hi Ruzica,

Look at your /usr/sap/trans/bin/<b>TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL</b>

It must contain a <b><SID>/DBSWPATH</b> for each system in your landscape. Modify the one regarding <b>QAS</b>. It must be pointing to the new ORACLE_HOME.

Thanks for the answer.

I've changed in the TP_DOMAIN_... file. But again the same error.

Then I saw some trans log with "sql error 12154 performing CON".

Looked in sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora files I found that I was changing (put comment) in the sqlnet.ora file for the part :

1. NAMES.DEFAULT_DOMAIN = WORLD

When I uncomment this line the transport request released ok.

I saw this in Note 443867 - ORA-12154 Collective SAP note
