clearing cash memory

Hi,all

I have a problem with viewing image after it has been updated.

In my requiment I replace one image by another and after that

I have to see a new image instead of ancient, but I still see the

ancient, that is not existing already(replaced by new image in

KM repository).May be the problem is that the ancient image

is still existing in cash memory and I need to clear it?If yes, how?

Or may be the problem is ather?

Any ideas?

hi,

I had faced a similar problem of new images not getting reflected, after they are updated.

I dont have the solution, but how to bypass it.

Rename the image-file name.

Eg: if its s_b_image.gif, then rename it to s_b_image_new.gif or something like that.

If you want to clear the cache memory, the only way to do it is to Restart the J2EE of your server.

I hope this helps,

Hi,

In your Iviews -- there will be a property as Cache Level, set it to None, and try running the application. Your image will get refreshed.

Cheers!!!
