Hi Vadivambal,

Maintain authorization for CPRO_DPO & assign authorizatiom for Create or Generate Project. Assign this profile to your User Id, you'll then be able to create a Project.

Hi Vadivambal,

Which version are you running? Try activating some of the services in T code SICF:

Default host -> SAP -> bc -> bsp -> sap -> prp*

(Activate all prp related services)

Also check the RFC connections.

Dear Rehman,

Thanks for your reply.

I do have these roles assigned to my user id.But i am getting authorization error when i try to create project.

I did the following

1. Ran the tcode SE80

2. opened the cProject link

3. In web browser , clicked on create project

4. It gives an error message "you are not authorized".

I do not know how to find out which authrization object is missing since it is BSP.

I had enabled the authrization trace for my id but it there were no entries found.

Please advice me is there any standard role available for the same or how to get missing the authorzation to create Zrole.

Thx

Hi Vadivambal

One or more composite roles must be assigned to each user in cProjects, so that the user

receives the corresponding authorizations to work in cProjects. The following composite roles

are available as standard:

• SAP_CPR_DECISION_MAKER

• SAP_CPR_INTERESTED

• SAP_CPR_MEMBER

• SAP_CPR_PROJECT_LEAD

• SAP_CPR_TEMPLATE_RESPONSIBLE

• SAP_CPR_RESOURCE_MANAGER

The composite roles contain several single roles. SAP supplies the following single roles for

cProjects as standard:

• SAP_CPR_PROJECT_ADMINISTRATOR

• SAP_CPR_TEMPLATE_ADMINISTRATOR

• SAP_CPR_USER

The single roles contain authorizations that a user needs to work with cProjects. You do not

usually assign these roles directly to the users, but indirectly through composite roles.

The composite roles contain the semantic of the roles (see role description in the transaction

PFCG) corresponding to a combination of the single roles and their authorizations. They do

not have their own authorizations.

Regards

Rehman
