Sending a message/mail to an external mail account

Hello,

How can send a mail to an external mail account. Till now I only can send a mail within my own company, I want to send a mail other to other people as well.

Hi,

you have to configure the TA scot. Enter a mail server for the adress typ internet.

for example an exchange Server.

you must use esmtp on this mail server...

SAP configuration

Hi Alexander ,

You need to configure SCOT for this.To send mail to external mail services also do the follwoing settings.

Go into transaction SCOT,choose node smtp,in the supported address Types choose set button corresponding to the internet field .

In the address areas make enteries as

*gmail.com

*yahoo.co.in

*yahoo.com

and so on depending on your requirement.
