SLD jco error

Hello,

We are implementing EP7.0 and deployed Business Packs for ESS successfully but when we goto the ESS role it comes up with a message :

Error while Obtaining jco connections.JCO SAP_Self_Service_Generics does not exit ,no such jco is defined in the SLD

and the SLD service is stopped but it comes back on it's own and then we are able to see the ESS Overview page ,this has been happening for quite a while.

Please help

Any help would be highly appreciated

I have already configured the Jco's you are talking about ,then the SLD service stops after sometime and comes back on it's own without making any changes .

I wonder what is going wrong.

to configure ESS we need to CONFIGURE following webdynpro Jco to back end ERP system

• SAP_R3_HumanResources

• SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData

• SAP_R3_Financials

• SAP_R3_Financials_MetaData

• SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics

• SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics_MetaData

• SAP_R3_Travel

• SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData

Hi,

1.Check if SLD server you are connecting to is stable.

2.SLD connection parameters should be specified properly in SID-->server>services---->SLD data supplier.

set it at both tabs,HTTP settings and CM client generation settings.

Check if CIM client test is successfull and Trigger SLD data transfer and check if it is successfull.

3.Go to SID---->dispatcher----->services.

go to monitoring,and check if proper JCO connection is created and check whether ir is in running mode.

4.try updating SLD to latest patch from CRContent zip file taken from location

/usr/sap/SID/SYS/global/SLD/model/CRContent.zip.

go to import in SLD page nad import this CRcontent zip file.

after this confirmations,it should work.
