In material determination how you configure the system should propose when product A is not available then only system substitute with product B. If A is available 60% quantity. How do you do in the situation?

In Material determination u subtitute material when it is not available, or if it got obsolete or some other reason .

See if u have senerio in which u have to supply total quantity in one go then its better to substitute with new one or with customer consent u can supply partially i.e 60% as it is available with u and the another 40% of substituted product.

All this depend on ur bussiness requirement.

first you do mat.determination A to A and then do A to B, put 2 records and save... if you order 100 Nos of A, it propose A - 60 Nos and B-40 Nos...
