What are the Enhancements you done as a support team member and can you please explain any three of them?

hi venkat,

we have done these following :

1) when credit card order is being processed we need to enter the card type like master card, visa and the card number which has about 16 digits. Once it is done we have implememented an user exit that the first 12 characters turn into a star symbol not allowing anyone further to see them. Even if they are copied as it is, still it wont work as a number. That the encryption helps safety of information.

2) Added a new field in the material master to check maximum order quantity. SAP standard provides a field for minimum order quantity, our client wanted a field for maximum order qty. this has done by our abaper using module pool programming.

3) We have developed a Z transaction code that it checks all those deliveries which are picked, packed completely and does PGI. here we add the freight values at the time of PGI.

Enhancement in support could be with respect to:

1. Implementing new scenario, which is not configured.

2. Developing 'Z' programs to meet their specific requirement. Eg: Warranty is not a standard feature of SAP upto ECC 6.00. If the client is on lower versdion, then it is to be handled through'Z' debelopment.

3. Modification of Pricing Procedure & getting Patch upgrade done based on changes in Tax requirement (Implication of Budget on Business Process)
