Hi,
I am facing a problem of button text getting displayed in incorrect language -german in CCM catalog when I go to shop in SRM-EBP .
In spro - defining external services the input values like SAP-Language is given "sy-langu" sap filed and locale is given as EN fixed value.
The system detials are:
release level software component Description
SRM_SERVER 550 0007 SAPKIBKT07 SRM_SERVER
CCM 200_700 0007 SAPK-27007INCCM CCM 200_700 : Add-On Installation

Vani.
Atul,
It would be highly appreciated if you could send the documentation to me as well.
Cheers,
Abdul

Hi
We have faced a similar problem in CCM Catalog while doing shopping through Web page and anyhow, we managed to solve it by making some changes and maintaining some elements in 'EN' langauge in the transaction SOTR_EDIT.
You can send me the details, what problems are you facing, currently ?
I will try to guide you out at the earliest.
Regards
- Atul

Hi Atul,
The problem that I am facing currently is when I login into web through ebp and goto shop(BBPSOCO2 - internet service) and use the link CCM_CATALOG (provided for catalog) in takes me to catalog screen. But the text for buttons like
1. new searches is displayed in german as neue suche
2. liste durchsuchen is displayed in german foe scan the list button.
3. The tool tip also appears in german for the basket symbol
Thanks
Vani.
Hi,
As Atul has explained, the translation can be performed in SOTR_EDIT, also in SE63 directly, CCM 2.0 SP7 was delivered with incomplete translations and as this does not fall under the CCM area of ownership it cannot be corrected by any CCM note only manually till now.
Some tips - the texts in SOTR_EDIT are CASE SENSITIVE, so ensure you search for 'Neue Suche' and 'Liste durchsuchen' (corresponds to 'New Search' and 'Search List' respectively)
SOTR_EDIT is quite straightforward for use, create a new translation in package /CCM/COMMON_ACCESS and save to a transport, once this is done you should run command /$otr to refresh the OTR buffer
The translated texts should then be available in the CSE, if not, perform the translations also in SE63 for OTR short texts.

jason
