Hi All,
What does it means when the following file systems should be mounted with the option rbrw , /oracle/<SID>/origlogA, orilogB,mirrorlogA, and mirrologB and Sapdata file systems should be mounted with cio Option .Can any one give me the Advantages of doing this???
Regards,
SAIF..
These are the parameters which optimize the performance of the system. Like the average time to read data from disks.
In your oracle init.ora profile parameter filesystem I/O should be set to setall.
aio, cio and direct io should be properly analyzed depending on the version of your aix machine to start with the installation

rbrw = release behind read and write
cio = concurrent IO
-> have a look at sapnotes 999.524, 948.294
