New To XI!!! Basic help required

Hi all,

I'm very new to XI and i wanted to implement a sample scenario where in i'd like to connect from EP to my MS SQL database via XI. I have developed the web services at both the end points. Can any one show me a link where such a scenario has been implemented or the proceedure might have been explained...
