Can anybody tell me what can be the problem?

I think webservice is expecting Content-Type: text/xml & in the application its 'text/html' .Is it the problem & how can i solve it?

Thanks

Sumit

Hi Sumit,

The output of the web service as you mention it is indeed correct, it should be xml. Since you receive html in your application, I guess it's a logon screen (e.g. incorrect password). Please check the status of the ADSUser and your connection settings (especially password) in Visual Administrator: <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/43/f3fcf604777062e10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm">Setting Up Basic Authentication in a Java Environment</a> (or the ABAP version of the same information).

Kind regards,

Sigiswald

Hi Sumit,

Start a browser and open http://localhost:50100

Go to the User Management and logon with Administrator and the password you chose first time you started the Visual Administrator.

Enter ADS* in the input field and press the start button.

Click on the line with the ADSUSER to open the detail view at the bottom.

Press the change button.

Enter a last name for this user, change the Security concept from Standard to Technical user and save the changes.

I hope this will help you.

Best regards
