Direction of the interfaces

HI

Could you pl clear me when to check radio button OUTBOUND/INBOUND. Does the radio OUTBOUND means/with respect to sender(appl. sys) i.e the message is coming out(outbound) of sender and into(inbound) XI and the otherway in the context of the receiver. This is what I understood, but confused after going thru some screenshots where I had seen people checking radio INBOUND for sender config.

Please clear my ambiguity.

inbound - from XI to somewhere

outbound - from somewhere to XI

From Development perspective.

Sender---> Outobund

Rx---> Inbound
