WAS SP9 to SP11 in AIX 64

Hi,

we have installed EP6 SP9 with WAS Java only SP9 in AIX 64 bit. It was working fine. when we start the WAS upgrade to SP11 we got IGS missing error in IGS ( 3'rd step ) installation step. We took all the four .SAR files from market place , extracted into one common folder. and run ./sapinst

any ideas what went wrong.

This may not be the same situation but I had a similar problem where the patch failed on the IGS step because files were still in use. Note 737099 resoved it.

Hi,

can you find igs folder along with your j2ee directory in your /usr/sap folder ?

there should be an IGS directory.

If its not there.. possibly IGS is not present.

Download IGS SAR archive from Service Marketplace and install it according to note 732502
