Hi Friends,

I am trying to create an Excise invoice for depot using J1IJ, but the BED and ECS is not coming.

What are the settings to be checked/verified to ensure if there is something missing ?

Dear Gaurav,

This J1IIN is done while stock transfer from factory to depot.

You have to enter internal excise in J1IG from J1IIN.

Have you checked the display of RG23D in J1IDEPOTSTOCK1 in inbound.

Same has to selcted in outbound.

Hi Jatinder,

We have trading sort of Business as we purchase from local vendors in India , put them in our warehouse( our plants are marked as depot in customizing in our case) and then sell the products to Local Customers.

So, In this case, How can we do J1IIN as we don't have any manufacturing.

Plz let me know the process how to get that incoming invoice number in J1IJ ?

( display of RG23D in J1IDEPOTSTOCK1 in inbound is Fine )

Dear Gaurav,

Pl enter the internal excise invoice number and year in J1IG of the excise dodument created in J1IIN in stock transfer in delivery. This will lead to excise being reflected in J1IG. Now go to display and Display of RG 23D register and you will see this entry in a folio number.

Now further in J1IJ select the same inbound entry needs to be selected.

J1IJ-RG23D selection-Select item-F6-Click on exicse invoice-Select the inbound invoice-continue. You can also contol the no of inboud invoices displayed in selection criteria.

Hi Jatinder,

My J1IG is working fine . No problem in that.

Further, We don't use J1IIN as we don't have factory sale.

Our scenario is depot sale.

Problem is that , in J1IJ, No incoming excise invoice is being reflected.

Please help .

Pl select the incoming excise invoice while in J1IJ.

Also let us know which procedure you are using TAXINJ or TAXINN.

Is the excise and cess coming fine in commercial invoice.

Hi Jatinder,

as you asked :

1 . In J1IJ , I am not able to select incoming excise invoice since that screen is coming totally blank

( However , I have followed one cycle ME21N --> MB01 --> J1IG )

This is also one of my doubts why incoming excise invoice is not displayed to select in J1IJ.

Plz help.

2. Yes , In Commercial Invoice , Excise is coming fine.

You can chack whether condition record is maintained for conditions JAIX / JAIY please chech validity of record too.

I hope procedure is properly assigned.
