Hi All,
Could you please tell me, what type of Technical system ( Web AS ABAP, Web AS Java Standalone,Third-Party ) we have to create for Webservice -> XI -> R/3 or JDBC scenario.
Regards
Sara
Sara,
Webservice you can create a ThirdParty technical system.
For RFC's , it is not mandatory but it is recommened that you create a WebASABAP technical system with the same type of Business System
For JDBC's you create a ThirdParty.

Hi ,
@Sara - U are welcome Sara
@Bhavesh - Nice answer Bhavesh, but what other tech.system can you use for RFC's? It is on your SAP system, and hence WEBASABAP would be the only bet rite?
cheers,
Prashanth

Prashanth,
No absoultetly.
1. Receiver RFC adapter never validates against the Business System. You can use a Business Service/ third party Business System etc. It does not need the logical system name in any way and so you can use anything you want.
2. Sender RFC adapter expects a Business System with Correct Logical System Name by default But, in the sender RFC adapter , select Advanced Mode and DeSelect Option verify Sender System and you can use a Business Service etc.
