Hi,
We are strongly considering running APO Live Cache and the App server in an LPAR(s) on our i570 with Linux OS. We also have MIMIX running on the server but in a different LPAR of course. Is the Linux under iSeries a dual personality type situation where we could use Mimix to replicate the LPAR running Linux?
I'm trying to figure out the best method of providing an HA environment for Linux apps.
Thanks,
Craig
Hi Craig,
I would say, that this needs to be adressed to Lakeview, because i5 Linux is an indpendent partition, where you should not try to make HA with OS/400 tools.
So, the question to Lakeview: Do they have such replication tools for Linux 64 ?

Hello Craig,
Assuming you run Linux not in a hosted partition you will need the product: MIMIX® HA ClusterTM for Linux.
If running Linux in a hosted makes a difference here I do not know, but my guess would be that it does not.
