Hi everybody,
When a try to open a PDF file in transaction CV03N, it should open the file locally, I receive an error message. I noticed that this error begins after the installation of the Adobe Reader 8.
Anybody have seen it?
Thanks in advance,
Itamar Marioto
We got the same error. It also occurred when we upgraded from 6.x to 7.x. For some reason it appears that SAP wants the full path to the reader. Here is what we got from SAP Support:
Please make sure that the following entry:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" /p /h "%1"
is maintained at: 'Start -> Settings -> Control Panel', double-click
on folder 'Folder Options', highlight extension 'PDF' in the window on
tab 'File types', click button 'Advanced' and create (or edit) action
'Print'. The entry needs to be done in the field 'Application used to
perform action'. Check option 'Use DDE' and enter 'AcroRd32' in field
'Application' and 'System' in field 'Topic'.
I have more detail on settings in transaction DC30 if that doesn't fix the problem.
Regards,
John

Having the same issue with me. As I can see old post but now Folder option has been changed into Windows 10. Can you someone suggest about to check about the entry "C:Program FilesAdobeReader 8.0ReaderAcroRd32.exe" /p /h "%1" for windows 10 machine. I have issue with error - Acrord32.exe --- SAP is trying to find Adobe always however remove adobe still getting same error when generate a summary report from SAP. Report generate successfully but getting error msg every time. Action taken - disable security features of SAP and adobe and try to print still get same error. Even removed adobe and delete the entry of Acrord32.exe from registry still getting error.
