Help migrating Picklist (SAPScript) to SmartForm

Hi, I took the smartform class but it is worthless when it comes to real-world forms. I was hoping that somebody could point to towards a SmartForm that I could use as a guide when converting a picklist (for shipping). Our form currently has a lot of logic in the SAPScript and it just boggles my mind.

I have read the SAP provided 'tutorial' on migrating forms but that doesn't help me one bit (I figured that part out on my own).

Hi,

For Picklist:

- /SMB40/RVADEK01 (Print Program)

- /SMB40/SDPIK_L (SmartForm)

- /SMB40/SDPIK_A (SmartForm)

See the note 595812: it explain how to download the preconfigured smartforms.

Anyway this is an extract of that note:

To download preconfigured smartform package, please:

1. Go to http://service.sap.com/installations , select tab "download".

2. On the right hand side screen, locate navigation tree node

SAP Software Distribution Center->Download->Installations and Upgrades->

Entry by Application Group.

3. In the main window (right hand side), follow the path

SAP Best Practices->Best Practices for mySAP All-in-One-> PRECONFIGURED

SMART FORMS, you can find available preconfigured smartform versions.

Ferry, thanks a lot for your help. Is there a trick to finding these? I search for pick in Tcode SMARTFORMS and search for picklist at the SAP marketplace.

Hi Davis,

The /SMB40/SDPIK_L and /SMB40/SDPIK_A are preconfigured form from SAP.

Please check above links to find all preconfigured smartforms. Also you check table TNAPR for all smartforms available as well.

Hi Davis

U can see the SAP site to find a standard smartform for picking list, if you want to migrate a sapscript to smartform u should consider only the output component will be migrated so all abap code of driver program will be inserted manually.

Anyway u can do the migration from SMARTFORMS(trx)->Utilities

Max, thanks for the reply. I looked at the SAP site and searched SDN and the Tcode SMARTFORMS for a picklist and couldn't find anything, that is why I asked the question on SDN. I have already, as I said in my original post, tried the migration from SAPScript and it didn't help out much. I was hoping to find a SmartForm that used a lot of internal logic and different tables so I could use it as a reference.
