SAP XI IDOC adapter Non SAP system

I want to send IDOC to Non sap system using SAP XI using IDOC receiver adapter. I have created a RFC destination of type TCP/IP. I have created a port pointing to ECC.

When IDOC adapter sends IDOC to Non-sap system. It fails. I checked in SM58. It gives an exception "FUNCTION NOT IMPLEMENTED raised by external server'. If I test with SAP syst

type of connection should be R3 and not TCP/IP !!!!

A Reference :

Sent/Receive IDOC:

you need to do the following:

In XI

SM59 - R3 connection pointing to R3

IDX1 - define the port with the above dest.

In R3

SM59 - R3 connection pointing to XI

WE21 - define the port with the above dest.

WE20 - Partner profile type outbound/Inbound

For Non-Sap system, I think it should be of tcp/ip not type R.

I have already done all activities mentioned. Has anyone used XI IDOC adapter to send IDOC to Non-SAP application like biztalk?
