Oracle<sid>Agent Service when started change status after few seconds

Hi,

After the reboot of the Windows server we are facing an issue as J2EE node is not coming up in WAS 640 with only Java stack. I am unable to connect to Config tool also. The Oracle<sid>920Agent service in Windows is changing its status after few seconds of its startup.

Kindly send me your suggestion.

could yout able to login as <SID>adm.??

is this user local (or) domain ??

From Command prompt,

Try to start / check status of listener and what is the status of instance from command prompt. Is databse is Opened ???

Hi Srinivas,

Thanks for your reply.

I tries to check the environment entries then found unable to open user environment section. It states as " Cannot open USER environment section in Registry. Possible registry corruption".

This means the system is unable to read this file from registry and if it reads the DB may come up.

Can you put some inputs for this.
