No Posting possible-

Hi all,

this is very old error, while stock posting

"Posting is only possible in period 2007/05 and 2007/04 in comp code ZZZ"

possible checks already done:

- MMPV- open -close posting periods,

- Checked in OMSY- company codes dates r in same as 2007/05--2007/04 ,

- OB52/OBBP- open-close posting periods,for variant 0001 & assign it to comp code

-OBY6- comp code global settings,

everything is fine,

still getting the same error,

where i need to check apart from the above,

I know itz MM prob,

I think this may help you,

1. go to spro-img-ent structure-assign- delet the assignment of company code with plant

2.go to OMSY change the required period and save

3. again asssign the deleted company code and plant.......

I think you will not get the error

hi,

OMS2 - we use it for quantity and value updation for our plant in combination with the material type. Just check if the quantity updation is ticked.

I know if this is not ticked then the error would be like, no posting possible. if its ticked then it tells about in which period we cannot do the posting as in your case.

just check.

check the control period in the accounting view of the material master data for the material you are trying to post if its 05, 2007.

pl let me know if it works.

goto MMPV and open the periods for the current month.. tjat is give company code and 05 and 2007,
