how to transport a role from one client to another client?

Hi,

Why u want to transport the role to differnt clients on the same system.u can access the same role on all clients in the same system..Use the transport tool to transport the role from one sap system to another.

I have created a role in client 250 and i need the same role in client 200.how to transport the role?

Hi Kumar,

Proceed as below,

To transport the role,

1. PFCG (Provide the role name)

2. Click on transport icon (3rd icon)

3. Create a new TP request and the role will be added iin the TP request.

4. Go to SE09..Release the transport request as standard procedure.

If you are doing the transport on the same system, Say ( Dev 250 to Dev 200) then,

1.Go to STMS

2. Select the SID from the Queue

3. Refresh the queue

4. Click on Extras --> other requests --> Add

5. Give the TP request and it will add it in the queue. Refresh the queue and it will display the newly added TP request in the queue.

6. Proceed with normal transport procedure.

Sorry, I was wrong ..Roles are Client dependant.
