Hi gurus,
When i am replicating the data from r/3 to bw in r3 source system it is giving error the error is RFC connection to source system Q_ESTL_010 is damaged ==> no Metadata upload.
I have checked the rfc connection it is working fine i will be glad if anyone helps me in this matter.

Thanks your tip worked for me though in our case the connection is from itself. Also I had to blow relevant entries in EDP13 and EDP21. This was necessitated by RSA1 execution.

Goto sm59 and delete the damaged connection
then create a new connection in source and destination systems.

Hi Sume,
A. In the R/3 source system delete the entry in RSBASIDOC table for the associated BW sytem. This will delete the obsolete BW system connection.
B. In the associated BW system, RSA1>Source System>Restore will re-establishes the connection for the R/3 source system.
For more info, refer to OSS note:184322 (it's not relevant for your situation, but helps in restoring the connectivity). Hope it helps,
