J2ee not working

Hi Gurus;

Unable to connect to visual administrator.

Giving error connection lost.

I checked it out and guess the j2ee is not working .

I tried out restarting the server but it never served the purpose.

Please suggest a way out of it.

Hi Tushar Pathak ,

Are you able to login into UME with J2EE_ADMIN?

if yes, please do below steps:

assing ume all roles to J2EE_Admin; then login to VA.

Please reward points if it is usefull.

Hi;

When i try to run go.bat it gives an error,connection lost.

I tried to restart the server but of no use.

I checked the various logs in woek folder but none had data to restify the problem.

Then i restarted the server again and noe all the instances in MMC are missing .

I tried running the sapstartsrv.exe by giving the neccessary details bit it giving error service cannot be started.

Please help....

Hi,

It is very necessary that the j2ee engine should be up and running for the visual admin to be connected.

see if all services are up and running under J2ee instance?

Try starting the services manually through telnet.

Check if License is applied?
