How to thoroughly clean up the old SLD info in a NW04s systems?

Former Member

We have an NW04s (JAVA only) which was pointing to SLD1.

Later, we changed it to point to SLD2.

However, it seems that the NW04s system still remembers the

old SLD1.

We searched every place but could not find out where was the

hidden info about the old SLD1.

Please help! Points guaranteed.

A few places to check,

1. TCP Ip Connection SAPSLDAPI in SM59.

2. Transaction SLDAPICUST.

3. Check in RZ70.

hi Jennifer,

you need to change service - <b>SLD data supplier</b>

via visual administrator

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ea/cd2e807e0e45bf9da67354f452fc05/content.htm

there you can put the new SLD info

(you can also do a test from this service)

then if will not remember the old SLD

michal

Hi Michal,

This is an intersting info

I guess that the entry in the VA would be to allow the Java Stack of XI to communicate to the SLD and the entires I have pointed above would be for the ABAP stack of XI.

Correct me if I am wrong and also do let me know if I have missed any other entries that are maintainedo n the ABAP stack.

you're right

you need to maintain for both ABAP and java separately
