I have installed the Portal runtime for .NET. locally and when trying to run MMC I receive an error message:

Snap-in failed to initialize. Name: SAP Portal Runtime for Microsoft .NET 2.0

how are you doing ?

i request for more details on your issue to be able to help

but i can recommend to check the version of portal runtime than you have installed is compatible with the OS

if you use a 64 bit box, then it is not as simple to get it running, but it is possible

so things are simpler on a 32 bit box...

also please check every condition mentioned in
