about Seeburger AS2 & other adapters

what is this Seeburger spoke(can we call it as Spoke hub?I have read some where in SDN)

any document for that please.

1)I read like there are 1) SeeburgerBIS: AS2 stand alone 2)Seeburger BIS:AS2 Module 3)BIS :Hub&Spoke AS2

which one do we use most,I mean in general?

2)if we are using AS2 adapter then ,does partner also need AS2 (like one of the above mentione three types.)?and what format of the documents should be in,I mean either EDI or XML or CSV (I know AS2 supports all formats)?

3)can we use only AS2 adapter for sending as well receiving,I mean for complete one B2B scenario?

4)when we need other communication adapters like OFTP,FTP/VAN,400P7?
