BW Security Infor Area

Hi all,

I built a role to restrict queries based on InfoArea using S_RS_COMP,S_RS_COMP1, S_RS_ICUBE,S_RS_ODSO,S_RS_MPRO,S_RS_ISET and specified the infoarea in the info area field. But when i execute the query from that infoarea, it gives authorization error. It says that I do not have authorization for an infoarea which is actually a child for the infoarea that i gave in the objects.

My question is if we give the parent infoarea aren't the childinfo area's included.

It depends on how you set the security on the Cube, but you can try the below objects

S_RS_ISET

S_RS_HIER
