Error in RZ70

Former Member

Guys I have searched this forum but cannot find any concrete solution to our problem.

When Registering our Systems with the SLD on XI via the RZ70 transaction we get the following error.

JCO.Server could not find server function 'SET_SLD_DATA'

Now we have tried a few of the suggestions on this site but nothing seems to work. We would like to know

A: Is this an issue with the XI system or the ERP system that we ant to register

B: What we can do to solve the problem

Thank You

To overcome the problem

"JCO.Server could not find server function 'SET_SLD_DATA" while using RZ70 make sure that all your SLD Profile parametsr are right.

For Instance I got this error when during PI HCOPY.

The target SLD had some profile parameters(SLD Profile) that were relevant to source.

After changing them the message no longer appeared.

Hello,

In rz70 check the 'data collection program'

and check the check box '_SLD_RFC' and activate it.

It should help you.

Just check with this blog byMichal and make sure that the <b>Update local SLD (sld/active)</b> is done on the SLD.

Alex ,

Have always registered technical systems manually . So got no idea

Maybe you can try the IP address in RZ70 instead of the host name.

OK I will do it manaually :-)... will this be a probem though since by doing it manually it doesnt solve the problem that the systms cant communicate with the SLD

One last question... IS there a transaction I can use to obtain the Message Server Port and also the instance number for the central application server?

Always have got these details from the Basis team. Maybe there is a direct way which i am not aware of and hopefully some one can provide an answer as well.
