WebDynpro Training

Hi,

I am planning to attend a WebDynpro training at SAP Bangalore, India this month. Its very costly and costs about Rs.<b>82,500</b>/- for just <b>5 days</b> of training. My question is, can WDP be learned on the help.sap.com through this link <http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/15/0d4f21c17c8044af4868130e9fea07/frameset.htm>. What else extra things are we going to be taught in this course that are not there on help.sap.com.

1) Is certification also provided with this course ?

2) Is it necessary to get the Certification to secure a job in EP domain in US ?

Please help as I am in a confusion as to whether it is needed to spend that huge amount on a 5 day training course

Hi,

Just concentrate on the tutorials provided by SDN and have a look at help.sap.com as well.

That is more than sufficient.

• If you can afford the cost of the training then go ahead with the training Program as you can get the certification, which would be always a plus point to secure a job.

Hi,

if you are going for WD for java, then i dont think that they have included certification at the end of course. For some other course thay include certification.

Regarding studying it at your own, well it depends upon the practice you can do ,

It can be studied at your own, using the links you have as well as some more links. but important is how much do you practice.

The topics coverd in course may not include the content you see in the link, because it is common sense that such a vast technology wont be covered in just 5 days. What you get in those days is just a brief idea and quick run through WD.

About certification, yes, I stands as a very important aspect of your resume and also help a lot for Jobs. But for that yuo need to have proper experience and practice.

Hi,

You can get help on Webdyn pro through the tutorials provided by SDN itself. I think that will be more than sufficient provided you have little knowledge in Java programming.
