XI- Xi Scenario XI Adapter (Port Issue)

Hi all

we are implementating File - XIA--

|Internet|--

XIB -File.

At XIA i am using XI Adapter(receiver)

Message protocal HTTPS

At XIB I am using XI Adapter(sender)

Messaage protocal HTTP

Now the issue is

XIA is using HTTPS protocal , that means it will post data

to port 443 ( HTTPS Port)

But at XIB message protocal is HTTP.

So which port at XIB we need to open HTTP port or HTTPS port

Note: Both XI are at different landscape.

receiver : XIA communication channel to post data to XIB.

sender : XIB communication channel to receive data from XIA

we had gone through these blogs before posting this query..

Hi-

Sender(File adapter) -> XIA -> Remote XIB (XI adapter).

I think this may be possible.

Hi all ..

the isssue is with which port HTTPS/HTTP Port to be opened at XIB xi system.

In the implementation it is mandatory to use to XI at different landscape.

& use of https because of security issues.

Ashuthosh,

XIA is sending data to the https port of XI B and so, the https port of XI B needs to be opened.

There is no Sender XI Adapter.

If the XIA--> XI Receievr adapter is posting data to XIB on the https port, then the firewall should open the port for Https on XIA

Hi Bhavesh

The SENDER at XIB means cchannel to send data to file

The RECEIVER at XIA means cchannel to send data to XIB

as i mentioned in Note: above

Which port has to opened at XIB also.......HTTPS/HTTP.
